Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ermanno Tarquini took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alfonso Mameli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Tornese, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Franco Tristezza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Mameli skillfully saved the ball. In the 11th minute, Ermanno Tarquini fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Davide Cirigliano, passed just outside the right post. Volta Brusegana's Davide Cirigliano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Tarquini in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Volta Brusegana's Fabrizio Pelliccioni got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Ermanno Tarquini came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Bassanello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermanno Tarquini couldn't finish the play. Davide Cirigliano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edoardo Palone went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Bassanello's Federico Manzo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosimo Adriano in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Mameli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Davide Cirigliano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Tarquini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulvio Tornese blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Mameli having to make a save. In the 43rd minute Ermanno Tarquini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Cirigliano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosimo Adriano was the one to do the kick off. 62 minutes into the game, Bassanello's Edoardo Palone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davide Cirigliano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ermanno Tarquini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Davide Cirigliano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bassanello's Alfonso Mameli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Bassanello from getting a goal against them. Cosimo Adriano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 76 minutes, Cosimo Adriano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volta Brusegana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosimo Adriano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fulvio Tornese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bassanello's zone, Cosimo Adriano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Mameli came out of the goal and Cosimo Adriano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Volta Brusegana booed when Bassanello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Manzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Cosimo Adriano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Mameli was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Fulvio Tornese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Mameli having to interfere. Cosimo Adriano might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Mameli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosimo Adriano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute, Dave Carnevale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edoardo Palone struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Davide Cirigliano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bassanello. 100 minutes into the match, Fulvio Tornese notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Bassanello's Alfonso Mameli. Alfonso Mameli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Volta Brusegana players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
