With his leg Alessandro Collovati managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Monta's Fulvio Di Camillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 9th minute of the match Alberigo Trinca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dario Di Nucci skillfully saved the ball. If Amerigo Sorrentino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the game, Bernardo Ascoli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rossignago FC the free kick. In the 13th minute, Bernardo Ascoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rossignago FC's Damiano Diana couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Monta. When Fulvio Di Camillo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Monta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulvio Di Camillo couldn't finish the play. Rossignago FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Alberigo Di Monte scored to the left of an out of position Alessandro Collovati, making the score, 1-0. In the 24th minute Amerigo Angelini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Di Nucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Tedeschi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Rossignago FC's Damiano Diana took a good shot, in the 35th minute, which hit the crossbar above Dario Di Nucci's head, and flew over the goal. Monta's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Rossignago FC. Armin Bozzo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amerigo Angelini in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Di Nucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amerigo Angelini made a kick off. Amerigo Angelini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amerigo Angelini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rossignago FC's Amerigo Sorrentino got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amerigo Angelini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Di Nucci having to interfere. If Alberigo Di Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Monta's Fulvio Di Camillo in 76 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Alessandro Collovati guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Damiano Diana hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Bernardo Ascoli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monta's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Ascoli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
