When Biagio Natale fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sciranna AFC's protests and gave Biagio Natale a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sciranna AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Biagio Natale hit a great ball. Fabio Cicchetti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Frank Lavatrice made a huge save. 9 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Di Maio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Latina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sciranna AFC the free kick. Cristoforo Di Maio kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Camillo Cala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filippo Di Gaetano having to make a save. In the 19th minute Camillo Cala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Di Gaetano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Arturo Briganti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Latina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sciranna AFC the free kick. A collision led to Latina FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Arturo Briganti hit a great ball. Sciranna AFC's Frank Lavatrice proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Sciranna AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 27th match minute, Sciranna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Di Gregorio to maneuver through the defense. Filippo Di Gaetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Cala, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 41 minutes, Anselmo Disastro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sciranna AFC and the Latina FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Alexander Crisantemo made the kick off in the second half. If Fabio Cicchetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Lavatrice showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Cicchetti, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Fabio Cicchetti came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Latina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Cicchetti couldn't finish the play. Sciranna AFC's Frank Lavatrice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Crisantemo in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Sciranna AFC booed when Latina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Briganti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camillo Cala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filippo Di Gaetano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Filippo Di Gaetano had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Alberigo Federici from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Fabio Cicchetti struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Frank Lavatrice didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Latina FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Cicchetti in the 93rd minute of play forced Sciranna AFC's goalkeeper Frank Lavatrice to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sciranna AFC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Camillo Staniscia hit a great ball.
