After a rather tough play, Petosino's Emanuele Baratta got a free kick in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Fausto Volta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Petosino's Emanuele Porta. Emanuele Porta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio De Leonardis to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Petosino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Baratta to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Christian Loreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciccio Arioli hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC halifax town's zone, Cristiano Giorda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Motta came out of the goal and Cristiano Giorda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francesco Maio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Porta having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, FC halifax town's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Loreto came free, but Fabio Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Fabiano Bartolucci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Petosino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC halifax town the free kick. In the 73rd minute, one of Petosino:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Petosino. Fausto Volta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th play minute Fausto Volta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emanuele Porta. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Emanuele Baratta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petosino's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuele Baratta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC halifax town had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
