Achille Proietto might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domenico Di Santo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Achille Proietto ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Elia Dorigatti notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Barisano's Domenico Di Santo. Domenico Di Santo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd match minute, Poggio Superiore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Cirigliano to maneuver through the defense. Elia Dorigatti struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Domenico Di Santo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poggio Superiore. Achille Proietto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elia Dorigatti made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Poggio Superiore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Orlandi to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Riva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Baldassarre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barisano's Christian Verdecchia got a free kick in the 54th minute. Domenico Di Santo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elia Dorigatti's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Barisano's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elia Dorigatti 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Fortunato Scurti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Baldassarre having to interfere. Achille Proietto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Domenico Di Santo made a huge save. Alessio Loreto lost his temper 90 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 89 minutes into the game, one of Barisano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Poggio Superiore's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
