In the 16th match minute, AC Scorpions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Alonzi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Anselmo Bardella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torrazza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Bardella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amerigo Abete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to AC Scorpions getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Edoardo Iannucci hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Bardella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amerigo Abete was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Amerigo Abete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Gergori in the 31st minute of the match. Anselmo Bardella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Abete having to interfere. Amerigo Abete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristopher Powell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Torrazza FC got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Gergori. Anselmo Bardella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in AC Scorpions's zone, Attilio Teodori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amerigo Abete came out of the goal and Attilio Teodori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Gergori struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Amerigo Abete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrazza FC.

If Kristopher Powell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in AC Scorpions's zone, Kristopher Powell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amerigo Abete came out of the goal and Kristopher Powell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Bardella in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amerigo Abete saved AC Scorpions from getting behind. Ferruccio Napoleoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Amerigo Abete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anselmo Bardella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torrazza FC's Anselmo Bardella got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Torrazza FC's Amerigo Abete threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anselmo Bardella, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in AC Scorpions's zone, Saverio Gergori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amerigo Abete came out of the goal and Saverio Gergori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amerigo Abete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Bardella in the 89th minute of play. Amerigo Abete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Bardella in the 90th minute of the match. Amerigo Abete made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Kristopher Powell sent off a good shot on target. Amerigo Abete was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot.
