Arrigo Pierdomenico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. A wasted opportunity for AC Scorpions. 12 minutes into the match, Arrigo Pierdomenico notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Zambana Nuova's Enrico Tartaglia. Enrico Tartaglia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Zambana Nuova booed when AC Scorpions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Alonzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anfilogino Diana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amerigo Abete. AC Scorpions's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Anselmo Alonzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Scorpions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zambana Nuova the free kick. Carter Pacella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fedele Scibilia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AC Scorpions's Amerigo Abete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save AC Scorpions from getting a goal against them. Amerigo Abete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Scibilia in the 25th minute of play. Enrico Tartaglia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Iannucci in the 27th minute of the match. If Carter Pacella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. Fedele Scibilia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Fedele Scibilia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 46th play minutes Carter Pacella shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Amerigo Abete and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arrigo Pierdomenico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Carter Pacella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amerigo Abete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter Pacella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zambana Nuova's Enrico Tartaglia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Zambana Nuova from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Fedele Scibilia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carter Sartori got free with Enrico Tartaglia in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fedele Scibilia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Abete having to interfere. Fedele Scibilia took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amerigo Abete. Amerigo Abete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Amerigo Abete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Pacella in the 78th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedele Scibilia in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amerigo Abete prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Fedele Scibilia came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Zambana Nuova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedele Scibilia couldn't finish the play. After having played for 86 minutes, Fedele Scibilia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zambana Nuova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedele Scibilia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carter Pacella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fedele Scibilia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Abete having to interfere. AC Scorpions's Amerigo Abete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Scibilia in the 97th minute of play. Zambana Nuova's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
