Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fortunato Cagnetta made the kick off which started today's match. If Alex Casadei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute Fortunato Cagnetta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Latini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Ferdinando Gulli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rome Sweet Home's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinando Gulli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davide Riva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Schiavoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Celle Ligure's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Rosato came free, but Davide Riva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinando Gulli in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davide Riva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 minutes, Ciro De Grandis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celle Ligure and the Rome Sweet Home players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 34 minutes, Ferdinando Gulli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rome Sweet Home's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinando Gulli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davide Riva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Gulli in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Rome Sweet Home booed when Celle Ligure was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Arcangeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinando Gulli made a kick off. Davide Riva came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rome Sweet Home's Dario Di Placido. But to his dismay, Dario Di Placido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ferdinando Gulli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Davide Riva made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Celle Ligure's zone, Alex Casadei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide Riva came out of the goal and Alex Casadei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Pelliccioni's late challenge caught a Celle Ligure's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiliano Pelliccioni helped the player get up and apologised. Ferruccio Latini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Arcangeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Davide Riva managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Rome Sweet Home's Ferdinando Gulli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 71 in the game by Ferdinando Gulli from a close distance when the talented Davide Riva managed to make a qualified save. Celle Ligure's players were relieved. After 78 played minutes, Celle Ligure's Carmine Sacchetti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferruccio Latini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Celle Ligure reached it. Celle Ligure's Davide Riva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Celle Ligure from getting a goal against them. Armando Schiavoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Celle Ligure fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rome Sweet Home were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
