Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fabrizio Mannucci made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Carmine Landolfi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beppe Sciarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dino Bottaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Beppe Sciarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Bottaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrizio Mannucci in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Fabrizio Mannucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Bottaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Pallotta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dino Bottaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Mannucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fabrizio Mannucci came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Sassi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Mannucci couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes Rain Utd got a freekick which was hit by Cristoforo Tacconelli. Fabrizio Mannucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Bruno Fabri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Fabrizio Mannucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Rain Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Sciarra came free, but Dino Bottaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Beppe Sciarra notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rain Utd's Dino Bottaro. Dino Bottaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sassi FC's Arturo Carozza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Como in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonello Como made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Pallotta in the 54th minute of play forced Sassi FC's goalkeeper Arturo Carozza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Fabrizio Mannucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Bottaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beppe Sciarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Bottaro having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Sassi FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Di Matteo. 79 minutes into the game, Eraldo Marrone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rain Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sassi FC the free kick. Eraldo Marrone kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Augusto Zola sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rain Utd's Dino Bottaro didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Fabrizio De Toni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sassi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrizio De Toni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Bottaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelio Caccia's late challenge caught a Sassi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Caccia helped the player get up and apologised. Aurelio Caccia hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Dino Bottaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrizio Mannucci's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 86th match minute, Rain Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Marrone to maneuver through the defense. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Sassi FC's Fabrizio Mannucci in the 87th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Dino Bottaro was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Rain Utd through an amazing save. Arturo Carozza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Pallotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Flavio Pallotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sassi FC's goalkeeper Arturo Carozza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Sassi FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rain Utd.
