Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabio Taraborrelli started the match with the kick off. The referee gave milazzo FC a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amerigo Carota, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Monte Grande AFC's Christian Catena. 0-1. In the 8th minute of the match Dario Combi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Catena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Enzo Mauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Tarquini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Enzo Tarquini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Taraborrelli in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Enzo Mauro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enzo Tarquini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Taraborrelli in the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Monte Grande AFC's zone, Fedele Demaria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Catena came out of the goal and Fedele Demaria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Catena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Demaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fabio Taraborrelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Cremonese charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Cremonese the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to milazzo FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alexander Cremonese hit a great ball. Enzo Tarquini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Taraborrelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Tarquini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Taraborrelli in the 36th minute of play. Christian Catena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Demaria in the 39th minute of play. Daniele Ronconi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Fedele Demaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Catena having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Fabio De Filippo made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Fabio De Filippo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monte Grande AFC's Christian Catena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 52 minutes into the game, Domenico Zarrella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monte Grande AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave milazzo FC the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Domenico Zarrella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Christian Catena managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when milazzo FC's Fedele Demaria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 55th minute, milazzo FC's Fabio De Filippo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christian Catena. Christian Catena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Fabio Taraborrelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Daniele Ronconi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Tarquini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Monte Grande AFC got a freekick which was hit by Armin Mancini. The supporters of Monte Grande AFC booed when milazzo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Salemme didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Taraborrelli in the 85th minute of play forced milazzo FC's goalkeeper Enzo Tarquini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The milazzo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
