An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Rossetti in the 4th minute of play forced FC Juventus's goalkeeper Andrea Circelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Alessio Perazzolo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Juventus's zone, Dino Rossetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrea Circelli came out of the goal and Dino Rossetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Rossetti in the 10th minute of play forced FC Juventus's goalkeeper Andrea Circelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Bucci was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Enrico Di Franco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrico Di Franco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After having played for 21 minutes, Filippo Pelusi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granarolo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Pelusi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute Filippo Pelusi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Circelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filippo Pelusi struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Andrea Circelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granarolo. Filippo Pelusi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Andrea Circelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Filippo Pelusi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes of play, Granarolo's Filippo Pelusi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrea Circelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filippo Pelusi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Dino Rossetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granarolo's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Rossetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrea Circelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Granarolo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrico Di Franco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dino Rossetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Circelli having to interfere. When Augusto Nazzari came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FC Juventus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Nazzari couldn't finish the play. Filippo Pelusi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Andrea Circelli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Federico Bucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Di Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Emilio Chiola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granarolo's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Chiola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrea Circelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dino Rossetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Bucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Di Franco in the 79th minute of the match. Edmondo Caponera hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Dario Atroce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Juventus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granarolo the free kick. In the 81st match minute, FC Juventus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Atroce to maneuver through the defense. If Filippo Pelusi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrea Circelli made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Filippo Pelusi sent off a good shot on target. Andrea Circelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Rossetti in the 92nd minute of play. Augusto Nazzari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Federico Bucci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comunardo Mascitti's late challenge caught a Granarolo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Comunardo Mascitti helped the player get up and apologised. Comunardo Mascitti kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
