Federico Tullo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberigo Ciccarelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Demetrio Federici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Fontana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Demetrio Federici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Fontana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Salemme in the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, San Michele's Domenico Salemme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Fontana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The long shot by Carmine Tucci in the 32nd minute really tested Alberigo Ciccarelli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 33 minutes into the match, San Michele's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Tullo came free, but Alberigo Ciccarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Demetrio Federici was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of San Michele booed when A.S.C. REAL BURUNDY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Vinci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, San Michele's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Strazzabosco came free, but Alberigo Ciccarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrio Federici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Fontana having to interfere. With a little luck, A.S.C. REAL BURUNDY's Donato Fontana got control of the ball when Demetrio Federici tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demetrio Federicis short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Donato Fontana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. San Michele's Alberigo Ciccarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Tullo in the 70th minute of play. Domenico Salemme kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in San Michele's zone, Federico Tullo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberigo Ciccarelli came out of the goal and Federico Tullo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donato Fontana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Michele. Fedele Trinca hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
