Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Fata in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Salerni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bernardo De Matteis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Assago getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cristiano Ceresoli hit a great ball. Anthony Sivieri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Alvaro Salerni made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Armando Fata managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.e.s.o. united's Alvaro Salerni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Sivieri in the 66th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, S.e.s.o. united's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Fata came free, but Alvaro Salerni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessio Del Prete's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Cristoforo Natale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 75th minute, Cristiano Ceresoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Marzulli was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
