In the 14th match minute, Inossidabili was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camillo Talamo to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Augusto Coccia made a precise shot to the right of Camillo Navarra. Inossidabili's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 25th minute, Zambana Nuova's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fulvio Giammarino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Camillo Navarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio De Simone in the 30th minute of play. Amerigo Trombatore was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Fulvio Giammarino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 33rd playminute. If Augusto Coccia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute of the match Enzo Franzioni shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camillo Navarra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Zambana Nuova's Augusto Coccia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camillo Navarra narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

If Camillo Talamo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Fulvio Giammarino put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Domenico Biagetti. Camillo Navarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio De Simone in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Zambana Nuova got a corner. Inossidabili's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Camillo Mandelli ran over to the corner to take the kick. Amerigo Trombatore struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Domenico Biagetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inossidabili. 86 minutes into the match, Zambana Nuova's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Trombatore came free, but Domenico Biagetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Ferruccio De Simone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo Navarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Benarrivo's late challenge caught a Inossidabili's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Benarrivo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Zambana Nuova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Benarrivo to maneuver through the defense. Domenico Biagetti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amerigo Trombatore went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
