Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes, Enzo Pasqualone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aranova AFC and the A.C. Pistoiese 1921 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C. Pistoiese 1921's goalkeeper Alfonso Giannantonio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ernesto Porcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Lupi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alvaro Lemme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Aranova AFC's zone, Christian Lauria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Porcu came out of the goal and Christian Lauria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Aranova AFC's Enzo Pasqualone got a free kick in the 36th minute. Bianco Moschetta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bianco Moschetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Lauria to make the kick off. The corner led A.C. Pistoiese 1921's Emilio Minotti to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernesto Porcu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aranova AFC's Ernesto Porcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Lauria in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute Alvaro Lemme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Giannantonio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Alvaro Lemme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Giannantonio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alfonso Giannantonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Lemme in the 76th minute of play. Bianco Moschetta scored 2-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Porcu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aranova AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
