Aranova AFC's Ernesto Porcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Berardini in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes, Alvaro Lemme made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cordova FC's Alessio Franceschi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Cordova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Lemme came free, but Alessio Franceschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Cordova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Ferraris came free, but Alessio Franceschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Porcu was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Aranova AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Armin Vulcano hit a great ball. Alessio Franceschi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Lemme, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Alessandro Rizzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Ernesto Porcu made a huge save. In the 28th match minute, Aranova AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Moscatelli to maneuver through the defense. Alessandro Rizzo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ernesto Porcu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cordova FC. When Claudio Berardini came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Cordova FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Berardini couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Porcu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Rizzo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Berardini made a kick off. Alex Ferraris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alessio Franceschi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cordova FC! In the 61st minute, Federico Di Bartolo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cordova FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. If Claudio Berardini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Porcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Rizzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Enzo Pasqualone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aranova AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cordova FC the free kick. A collision led to Aranova AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Enzo Pasqualone hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, one of Aranova AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aranova AFC. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Cordova FC. Florian Bertini stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ernesto Porcu. 4-2. Federico Di Bartolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Porcu having to interfere. Ernesto Porcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Rizzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ernesto Porcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Rizzo in the 79th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Enzo Pasqualone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Bertini's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Ernesto Porcu - 5-2 was put on the score board in the 100th minute. Aranova AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
