The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Despite this Filippo Migliorati quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Filippo Migliorati stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anfilogino Di Lorenzo's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Szczepan Ostrowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 15 played minutes Civezza FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Prato. With a little luck, fc barcelona's Szczepan Ostrowski got control of the ball when Alberigo Como tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Civezza FC's Armando Vinciguerra got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 28th minute, Filippo Tocchetto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Szczepan Ostrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Vinciguerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Armando Vinciguerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Ostrowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, fc barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Vinciguerra came free, but Szczepan Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Armando Vinciguerra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Szczepan Ostrowski, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Vinciguerra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Szczepan Ostrowski. That made the score 1-1 in the 39 minute of play. Szczepan Ostrowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Como, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 46 minutes fc barcelona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eugenio Bianchi who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Dino Vulcano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Szczepan Ostrowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 48 minutes into the game, Civezza FC's Fabrizio Di Luzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Szczepan Ostrowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anfilogino Di Lorenzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Szczepan Ostrowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Di Luzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Filippo Tocchetto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Migliorati having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, fc barcelona's Anfilogino Di Lorenzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filippo Migliorati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The long shot by Emilio Campoli in the 68th minute really tested Filippo Migliorati's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 69 minutes into the match, fc barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrizio Di Luzio came free, but Szczepan Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anfilogino Di Lorenzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Civezza FC's Alberigo Como got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 3-4 when Anfilogino Di Lorenzo sped through Civezza FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filippo Migliorati. 81 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Marcolongo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fc barcelona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Civezza FC the free kick. Szczepan Ostrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Di Luzio in the 83rd minute of play. Dino Nicolai kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Anfilogino Di Lorenzo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filippo Migliorati. The goal made the score 3-5. Anfilogino Marcolongo was shown his second yellow card after 100 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Anfilogino Marcolongo kicked well hit freekick during the 100th minute of the match. The fc barcelona supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing fc barcelona would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
