Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elia Di Donato kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Cartagenova FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Claudio Bellisario hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Enrico Masci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kroton's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrico Masci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carter Vani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Kroton's zone, Elia Di Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrico Di Leonardo came out of the goal and Elia Di Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Cartagenova FC's Eraldo Nicolini in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kroton's goalie prevented a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Cartagenova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Lucentini came free, but Carter Vani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrico Di Leonardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Nicolini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elia Di Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrico Di Leonardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Nicolini in the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Cartagenova FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Michelini. Carter Vani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Lucentini in the 29th minute of play. Enrico Di Leonardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Di Donato in the 30th minute of the match. Eraldo Nicolini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Enrico Di Leonardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Cantagallo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Kroton's Dino Barillari got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Fulvio Lucentini made the kick off in the second half. Cartagenova FC's Carter Vani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Lucentini in the 52nd minute of play. Enrico Di Leonardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Di Donato in the 58th minute of play. Elia Di Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elia Di Donato in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrico Di Leonardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrico Masci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Kroton's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Di Donato came free, but Enrico Di Leonardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Cantagallo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Eraldo Nicolini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elia Di Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Di Leonardo having to interfere. Eraldo Nicolini who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Enrico Di Leonardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Enrico Di Leonardo made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Claudio Bellisario sent off a good shot on target. When Enrico Masci came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Kroton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrico Masci couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
