Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) THC Team's Damiano Albanesi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. THC Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Fortunato Marongiu scored to the left of an out of position Concetto Di Federico, making the score, 1-0. In the 7th minute, Alfonso Bellisario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THC Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 14th minute Damiano Albanesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Renzetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Fortunato Marongiu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rebbio AFC's zone, Alfonso Bellisario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Concetto Renzetti came out of the goal and Alfonso Bellisario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Concetto Renzetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Albanesi in the 22nd minute of the match. Bernardo Mantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Di Federico having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Damiano Albanesi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Concetto Renzetti was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Fortunato Marongiu struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Concetto Di Federico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rebbio AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Rebbio AFC's zone, Alfonso Bellisario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Concetto Renzetti came out of the goal and Alfonso Bellisario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, THC Team's Alfonso Bellisario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Concetto Renzetti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Alberigo Gaspari fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rebbio AFC's protests and gave Alberigo Gaspari a yellow card for diving instead. Alberigo Gaspari hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fortunato Marongiu to strike the kick off in the second half. Concetto Renzetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Candeloro, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The corner led Rebbio AFC's Amedeo Valcareggi to fire away a dangerous shot which Concetto Di Federico despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Concetto Di Federico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Mantini in the 61st minute of the match. Fortunato Marongiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Concetto Di Federico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, THC Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Candeloro to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Rebbio AFC's Fortunato Marongiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Concetto Di Federico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damiano Albanesi took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Concetto Renzetti. Concetto Renzetti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 74th minute, Damiano Albanesi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alfonso Bellisario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of THC Team booed when Rebbio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Tiburtini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concetto Renzetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Albanesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damiano Albanesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Renzetti having to interfere. THC Team played a much better game than Rebbio AFC and deserved their victory. The Rebbio AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
