Yellow Submarine's supporters rose to their feet, but Armin Santone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Concetto Di Federico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arrigo Tristezza made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Alfonso Bellisario sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Yellow Submarine's goalkeeper Arrigo Tristezza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Bellisario. Arrigo Tristezza was a little too slow when Damiano Albanesi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Alfonso Bellisario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Tristezza having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Cristoforo Candeloro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THC Team and the Yellow Submarine players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, THC Team's Cristoforo Candeloro got a free kick in the 25th minute. Alfonso Bellisario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eraldo Fallito hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. THC Team's Alfonso Bellisario got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Damiano Albanesi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damiano Albanesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Tristezza having to interfere. With a little luck, Yellow Submarine's Arrigo Tristezza got control of the ball when Alfonso Bellisario tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damiano Albanesi in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arrigo Tristezza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. THC Team's Concetto Di Federico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save THC Team from getting a goal against them. When Alfonso Iannotti fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THC Team's protests and gave Alfonso Iannotti a yellow card for diving instead. Alfonso Iannotti hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 87 minutes, Enzo Pantano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yellow Submarine and the THC Team players grew even worse after the yellow card.
