Ettore Montanari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Santovito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Barducci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Abete having to interfere. In the 10th minute Enrico Maranzano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Abete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ettore Montanari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Santovito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Fulvio Natalucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes A.C. Teramo got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Maia. In the 24th minute, Enrico Colantonio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and A.C. Teramo's Ettore Montanari didn't even have to move. In the 26th minute Elia Santovito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Montanari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Barducci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ernesto Abete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Frezza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Abete read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. When Emiliano Frezza came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the A.C. Teramo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Frezza couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Frezza got free with Ernesto Abete in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Locatelli to strike the kick off in the second half. Enrico Maranzano struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ernesto Abete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C. Teramo. San Polo's Angelo Locatelli got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Frezza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Abete having to interfere. Enrico Maranzano's late challenge caught a San Polo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrico Maranzano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, A.C. Teramo's Enrico Maranzano got a free kick in the 66th minute. With a little luck, A.C. Teramo's Ettore Montanari got control of the ball when Elia Santovito tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to A.C. Teramo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Emiliano Frezza hit a great ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Enrico Maranzano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C. Teramo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrico Maranzano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ettore Montanari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elia Santovito in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Angelo Barducci managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.C. Teramo's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Barducci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Abete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Enrico Maranzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of A.C. Teramo booed when San Polo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Locatelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Polo's Ernesto Abete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Maranzano in the 90th minute of play. Ciccio Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the A.C. Teramo players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
