Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dave Monticelli kicked off to start the match. Dario Scarinci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippo Rotili, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Ernesto Franceschi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Dario Scarinci when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Franco Bussi charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franco Bussi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Franco Bussi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prati AFC's Dario Scarinci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Prati AFC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Prati AFC's Franco Bussi got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to Prati AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Francesco Tardelli hit a great ball. Torriana AFC's Filippo Rotili got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Pacella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Rapone having to interfere. If Flavio Pacella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prati AFC's Flavio Pacella got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filippo Rotili was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ernesto Franceschi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franco Rapone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Monticelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Filippo Rotili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Scarinci having to interfere. A collision led to Prati AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Angelo Palmieri hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Filippo Rotili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torriana AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippo Rotili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Scarinci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torriana AFC's Ernesto Franceschi got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filippo Rotili was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Flavio Pacella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filippo Rotili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dario Scarinci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Torriana AFC booed when Prati AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Stella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Scarinci came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Torriana AFC's Ernesto Franceschi. But to his dismay, Ernesto Franceschi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 67 minutes into the match, Prati AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Filippo Rotili came free, but Dario Scarinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prati AFC's Dario Scarinci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Franceschi in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Torriana AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dave Monticelli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Franco Rapone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Monticelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Flavio Pacella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Rapone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Monticelli in the 78th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Prati AFC's Francesco Tardelli got a free kick in the 84th minute. Flavio Pacella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Franco Rapone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elia Vaiani fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torriana AFC's protests and gave Elia Vaiani a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Torriana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elia Vaiani. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Monticelli in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Rapone saved Torriana AFC from getting behind. Franco Rapone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Monticelli in the 92nd minute of play. Torriana AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
