Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bariana's Alberto Fortunato started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Fortunato in the 4th minute of play forced VOLPE SORGENTEA's goalkeeper Federico Faiella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesare Alessandro's late challenge caught a VOLPE SORGENTEA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesare Alessandro helped the player get up and apologised. Cesare Alessandro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alberto Fortunato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Faiella was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. When Eraldo Ottavi fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VOLPE SORGENTEA's protests and gave Eraldo Ottavi a yellow card for diving instead. Bariana's Emanuele Gregori was substituted for Florian Limitone. Eraldo Ottavi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bariana's Cesare Alessandro got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 14 played minutes, VOLPE SORGENTEA's Camillo Della Francesca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ermanno Bardella came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VOLPE SORGENTEA reached it. Ciccio Domenici kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Federico Faiella came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Bariana's Donato Papa. But to his dismay, Donato Papa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Filippo Manzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bariana's supporters rose to their feet, but Filippo Manzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Faiella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Gregori in the 22nd minute of play forced VOLPE SORGENTEA's goalkeeper Federico Faiella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuele Gregori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Emanuele Gregori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bariana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuele Gregori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VOLPE SORGENTEA's Federico Faiella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Fortunato in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Fortunato in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Faiella saved VOLPE SORGENTEA from getting behind. Federico Faiella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Fortunato went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Bariana were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Antenucci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eraldo Ottavi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. Eraldo Ottavi hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Alberto Fortunato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Faiella having to interfere. After 61st play minutes Alberto Fortunato shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Federico Faiella and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind VOLPE SORGENTEA's goalkeeper Federico Faiella, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Federico Faiella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Fortunato's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Camillo Baresi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Faiella was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in VOLPE SORGENTEA's zone, Emanuele Gregori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Faiella came out of the goal and Emanuele Gregori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Alberto Fortunato dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Federico Faiella, 0-6. Federico Faiella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Fortunato's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. VOLPE SORGENTEA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alberto Fortunato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Federico Faiella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in VOLPE SORGENTEA's zone, Filippo Manzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Faiella came out of the goal and Filippo Manzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alberto Fortunato came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bariana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Fortunato couldn't finish the play. After 90 minutes, Diego Antenucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VOLPE SORGENTEA and the Bariana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Fortunato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, VOLPE SORGENTEA's Ciccio Domenici got a free kick in the 98th minute. Bariana's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
