Arrigo Taccone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Muppet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Scarpone came free, but Camillo Preda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arrigo Taccone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Preda having to interfere. Elia Guerini's late challenge caught a Muppet FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elia Guerini helped the player get up and apologised. Elia Guerini kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Arrigo Taccone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Legnano FC's Arrigo Taccone got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arrigo Taccone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camillo Preda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Scarpone, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Camillo Preda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Scarpone went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Arrigo Taccone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Scarpone to make the kick off. Claudio Consalvi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Emilio Scarpone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th match minute, Muppet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Crema to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Scarpone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Scarpone in the 74th minute of play forced Muppet FC's goalkeeper Camillo Preda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arrigo Taccone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Scarpone in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camillo Preda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emilio Scarpone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Legnano FC's Arrigo Taccone got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emilio Scarpone might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camillo Preda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Scarpone ran back to his position shaking his head. 94 minutes into the game, Legnano FC's Arrigo Taccone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camillo Preda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Legnano FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
