The supporters of Sessarego AFC booed when Boratella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Fantasia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amos Baur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Di Giovanni in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute Dave Di Giovanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Baur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
