The supporters of Tebano booed when Serreta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Di Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dennis Ragusa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Concetto Melfi during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Serreta's Concetto Melfi got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Dennis Ragusa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Negrini in the 24th minute of play forced Serreta's goalkeeper Alessandro Contaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Bernardo Negrini made a precise shot to the right of Alessandro Contaldi. Serreta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Ragusa in the 32nd minute of play forced Serreta's goalkeeper Alessandro Contaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 35th minute of the match Concetto Melfi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Concetto Melfi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 36th minute, Concetto Melfi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Dennis Ragusa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tebano's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Ragusa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Contaldi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alessandro Contaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Negrini, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Dave Franceschini kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Ferdinando Stumpo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro Contaldi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Bernardo Negrini made the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Negrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessandro Contaldi made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Dennis Ragusa sent off a good shot on target. Biagio Bolli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Marziali having to make a save. In the 59th match minute, Tebano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosimo Schiavo to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match Dino Sacchi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Marziali showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Serreta's Biagio Bolli got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Cosimo Schiavo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tebano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serreta the free kick. In the 74th minute, Cosimo Schiavo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Negrini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Dennis Ragusa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tebano's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Ragusa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Longo charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Longo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tebano's Bernardo Longo got a free kick in the 94th minute. Serreta's Dino Sacchi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tebano. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tebano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
