Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernesto Evani started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Enzo Di Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montesicuro AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Di Martino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Andreoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Angelo Federici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Santa Severa defense, Enzo Di Martino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabrizio Schirru. The Santa Severa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabrizio Schirru should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Di Martino in the 17th minute of play forced Santa Severa's goalkeeper Fabrizio Schirru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Ciro Andreoli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Severa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Alberto Schirru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Federici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Evani, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ciro Andreoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Santa Severa's Ernesto Evani in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montesicuro AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Fausto Polito kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When Enzo Di Martino came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Montesicuro AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Di Martino couldn't finish the play. Enzo Di Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Di Martino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Evani in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Federici saved Montesicuro AFC from getting behind. Fabrizio Schirru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Sciascia in the 67th minute of the match. Angelo Federici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Andreoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 75 minutes of play, Montesicuro AFC's Alberto Schirru made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabrizio Schirru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enzo Di Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Schirru having to interfere. Anthony Valeriani kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Corrado Labate was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alfonso Talone hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Montesicuro AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
