The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Daniele Picca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosimo Disastro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 5 minutes, Cristiano Corsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dolo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Corsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cosimo Bosco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dolo FC's goalkeeper Cosimo Disastro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ermanno Di Renzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Corsi's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Cosimo Bosco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessio Margoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermanno Di Renzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Bosco in the 20th minute of the match. Enrico Petroni shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Corsi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermanno Di Renzo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniele Picca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Cosimo Bosco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ermanno Di Renzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristiano Corsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Di Renzo having to interfere. Cosimo Bosco hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Cosimo Bosco stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of jo pae's defenders and the ball went out. Dolo FC appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. In the 67th minute, jo pae's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cosimo Bosco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 74 minutes into the match, jo pae's Daniele Picca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosimo Disastro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristiano Corsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessio Margoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Di Renzo having to interfere. Ermanno Di Renzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Corsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind jo pae's goalkeeper Ermanno Di Renzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Cosimo Bosco made a precise shot to the right of Ermanno Di Renzo. jo pae's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Cristiano Corsi came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Dolo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Corsi couldn't finish the play. The jo pae fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dolo FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
