An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Gava in the 11th minute of play forced SCHIO CELTICS's goalkeeper Ermanno Sabatini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Colantoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Castellani in the 12th minute of play. Fabrizio La Marca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Colantoni having to interfere. SCHIO CELTICS's Emilio Castellani got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stuttgart's Francesco Colantoni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Stuttgart from getting a goal against them. SCHIO CELTICS's Emilio Castellani got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ermanno Sabatini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Punta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Stuttgart's Francesco Colantoni got control of the ball when Emilio Castellani tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 67 played minutes, SCHIO CELTICS's Angelo Bianchi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francesco Colantoni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SCHIO CELTICS reached it. Thanks to some nice moves Damiano Punta could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Ermanno Sabatini however easily saved by the left post. If Emilio Castellani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermanno Sabatini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ennio Gava, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Emilio Castellani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabrizio La Marca struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Francesco Colantoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SCHIO CELTICS. Angelo Bianchi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ermanno Sabatini didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. In the 90th minute, Fabrizio La Marca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Fabrizio La Marca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SCHIO CELTICS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrizio La Marca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fabrizio La Marca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
