Federico Arcari started the match with the kick off. Angelo Pomponio hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Alex Gentile's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberigo Carta was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 10th minute Alex Gentile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Carta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davide Gallucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Arcari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Alex Gentile managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salispurgo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Gentile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Gentile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, one of Ramera FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Salispurgo. Ciccio Albertosi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alberigo Carta. 0-1. Angelo Pomponio's late challenge caught a Salispurgo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Pomponio helped the player get up and apologised. Angelo Pomponio hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Alex Gentile made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ramera FC booed when Salispurgo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Picozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Gentile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Carta having to interfere. Alberigo Carta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Cerrone, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Cristoforo Panico kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Alex Gentile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Gentile could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Alberigo Carta made a huge save. Alberigo Carta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Cerrone in the 71st minute of play. In the 81st minute Alberigo Mastronardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Gallucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Arcari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Gallucci having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Salispurgo got a freekick which was hit by Carter Guerrini. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Arcari in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davide Gallucci saved Salispurgo from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Gentile got free with Alberigo Carta in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ernesto Del Bello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristoforo Panico hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ramera FC's Alberigo Carta got control of the ball when Alex Gentile tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Salispurgo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ramera FC throughout the match.
