Claudio Garibaldi started the match with the kick off. In the 9th match minute, CAGNOLINI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Cimino to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, CAGNOLINI FC's Eraldo Lalli got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th match minute, CAGNOLINI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armin Spitaleri to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 16 minutes, Claudio Garibaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Collesalvetti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Garibaldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Collesalvetti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Croce to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd match minute, Collesalvetti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Scutti to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Scutti during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CAGNOLINI FC booed when Collesalvetti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Scutti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damiano Ciarrocchi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ennio Loiacono having to make a save. Fulvio Croce hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With his leg Achille Canuto managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Collesalvetti's Emilio Scutti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 34 minutes into the match, Alfredo De Felice dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Achille Canuto, 1-0. In the 37th minute, Aurelio Cimino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Claudio Garibaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achille Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damiano Miranda to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Collesalvetti getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Fulvio Croce hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the game, Aurelio Cimino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CAGNOLINI FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Collesalvetti the free kick. After 61 played minutes CAGNOLINI FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Cimino. Damiano Ciarrocchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ennio Loiacono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CAGNOLINI FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Damiano Miranda hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Claudio Garibaldi made a precise shot to the right of Achille Canuto. CAGNOLINI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 80th match minute, Collesalvetti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Cruciani to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes Damiano Miranda rounded Collesalvetti's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Achille Canuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Garibaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo De Felice in the 89th minute of play forced CAGNOLINI FC's goalkeeper Achille Canuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damiano Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ennio Loiacono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Collesalvetti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
