After 10 minutes, Anthony Cruciani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Collesalvetti and the Altichiero AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 12 minutes, Altichiero AFC's Alvise Malandra got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ennio Loiacono. The audience was convinced that Diego Del Nero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ennio Loiacono was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Alexander Colangelo charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Carter Niccolai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Garibaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Del Nero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ennio Loiacono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes in the game, Diego Del Nero fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ennio Loiacono having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Del Nero to make the kick off. Fulvio Croce kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Diego Del Nero struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ennio Loiacono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altichiero AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Di Massimo during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Collesalvetti booed when Altichiero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Di Massimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Altichiero AFC's goalkeeper Carter Niccolai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Scutti. The supporters of Collesalvetti booed when Altichiero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Colangelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carter Niccolai didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Claudio Garibaldi might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carter Niccolai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Garibaldi ran back to his position shaking his head. Ennio Loiacono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Troiani in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute Amerigo Di Nunzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Niccolai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Claudio Garibaldi notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Altichiero AFC's Carter Niccolai. Carter Niccolai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Collesalvetti's Claudio Garibaldi got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armin Coccia's late challenge caught a Collesalvetti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armin Coccia helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Altichiero AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Ferdinando Troiani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ennio Loiacono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Altichiero AFC had won after a very even match.
