The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Orecchioni in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ennio Loiacono prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ennio Loiacono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Orecchioni in the 5th minute of the match. Cristoforo Sciarretta didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Collesalvetti's Claudio Garibaldi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the Marzabotto defense, Amerigo Di Nunzio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristoforo Sciarretta. The Marzabotto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristoforo Sciarretta should have stopped the shot. Cristoforo Sciarretta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudio Garibaldi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 28 minute of play. After 32 played minutes Marzabotto got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Troiani. Collesalvetti's Fulvio Croce couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marzabotto. Claudio Garibaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cristoforo Sciarretta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Bruno Troiani had to leave the field with a concussion. 38 minutes into the game, Amerigo Di Nunzio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Collesalvetti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marzabotto the free kick. In the 39th minute, Amerigo Di Nunzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Emilio Scutti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristoforo Sciarretta. Marzabotto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Scutti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Claudio Garibaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cristoforo Sciarretta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
After 65 played minutes Marzabotto got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Limitone. 66 minutes into the match, Collesalvetti's Fulvio Croce broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marzabotto's Cristoforo Sciarretta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Scutti in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Migliorati in the 70th minute of play forced Collesalvetti's goalkeeper Ennio Loiacono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Claudio Garibaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Marzabotto getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Edmondo Limitone hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Garibaldi in the 77th minute of play forced Marzabotto's goalkeeper Cristoforo Sciarretta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Collesalvetti getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alex Marinucci hit a great ball. Damiano Migliorati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Loiacono having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Damiano Locatelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristoforo Sciarretta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Scutti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Emilio Scutti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Sciarretta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Claudio Garibaldi notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Marzabotto's Cristoforo Sciarretta. Cristoforo Sciarretta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Collesalvetti had played much better football throughout.
