An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Colombi in the 7th minute of play forced US Pro Italia Galatina's goalkeeper Fedele Nanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes US Pro Italia Galatina got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Giovannelli. Federico Profeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Paolini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fortunato Colombi scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fedele Nanni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Fortunato Colombi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fedele Nanni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Ettore Paolini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Profeta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ettore Paolini went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Fedele Nanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Di Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Angelo Giovannelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Profeta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Giovannelli ran back to his position shaking his head. Dino Di Toro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The US Pro Italia Galatina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Lorenzo FC were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fortunato Colombi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind US Pro Italia Galatina's goalkeeper Fedele Nanni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fedele Nanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Colombi in the 91st minute of the match. The San Lorenzo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
