Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fortunato Colombi took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Capurso's Florian Buffone got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermanno Costa got free with Federico Profeta in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 10 minutes, Anthony Pietropaolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capurso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Pietropaolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anthony Pietropaolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Federico Profeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Anthony Pietropaolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Profeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Andrea Giancristofaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Dino Di Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Di Toro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Casciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermanno Costa scored 1-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Profeta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Anthony Pietropaolo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. San Lorenzo FC's Federico Profeta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo FC from getting a goal against them. Anthony Pietropaolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Federico Profeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Ermanno Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Profeta having to interfere. Federico Profeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Pietropaolo in the 57th minute of the match. Anthony Pietropaolo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Anthony Pietropaolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Profeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Ermanno Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Federico Profeta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the game, Alessandro Piermattei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capurso the free kick. Federico Profeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Donato Piccirilli came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Capurso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Piccirilli couldn't finish the play. Anthony Pietropaolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dino Di Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Capurso's Ermanno Costa got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Capurso! San Lorenzo FC's Federico Profeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Costa in the 96th minute of play. If Fortunato Colombi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Capurso were the better team. Capurso's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
