Dino Orlandi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beppe Coccia during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Poggio Favaro AFC's Beppe Coccia got a free kick in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Fulvio Ragusa could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Comunardo De Meis however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulvio Ragusa got free with Comunardo De Meis in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, Fulvio Ragusa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Comunardo De Meis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 27 minutes, Fedele Scandella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cesinali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedele Scandella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesinali's Eugenio Sammartino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Federici in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Cesinali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Massaro to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Di Fazio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Through a series of nice moves, Cesinali's Fortunato Faiella on his own came free in the 43rd minute of the match and shot 2-0 behind a disappointed Comunardo De Meis. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dario Federici to strike the kick off in the second half. Fulvio Ragusa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Comunardo De Meis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvise Massaro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Fedele Scandella scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Comunardo De Meis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Cesinali's Alvise Massaro got a free kick in the 61st minute. Fulvio Ragusa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Ragusa in the 84th minute of play forced Poggio Favaro AFC's goalkeeper Comunardo De Meis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulvio Ragusa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo De Meis having to interfere. Comunardo De Meis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Scandella in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, one of Cesinali:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Poggio Favaro AFC a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ennio Azzolina, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cesinali's Eugenio Sammartino. 4-1. After 98 played minutes Cesinali got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Tristezza. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cesinali had won after a very even match.
