In the 9th minute Fedele Scandella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Avesani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedele Scandella in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anfilogino Avesani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cesinali's goalkeeper Eugenio Sammartino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fulvio Ragusa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Avesani having to interfere. A collision led to Isola Farnese AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ferruccio Firmani hit a great ball. When Fedele Scandella came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Cesinali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedele Scandella couldn't finish the play. Anfilogino Avesani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Scandella in the 26th minute of the match. If Fulvio Ragusa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 played minutes Cesinali got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Cianci. Isola Farnese AFC's Franco Trotta got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fedele Scandella stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Petrella charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Petrella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an all-out effort, Cesinali's Anfilogino Avesani threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fedele Scandella, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the last second Anfilogino Avesani throw himself and got hold of the ball when Fedele Scandella in the 58thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 61 minutes into the game, Isola Farnese AFC's Anfilogino Scrima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Sammartino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Franco Trotta came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Isola Farnese AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Trotta couldn't finish the play. Eugenio Sammartino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Scrima, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The attack was good, but when Fedele Scandella in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Fulvio Ragusa struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Anfilogino Avesani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cesinali. If Fedele Scandella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Isola Farnese AFC! 1-2 came through a penalty shot after 88 played minutes, when Cesinali:s Fortunato Faiella calmly waited for Isola Farnese AFC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 92nd minute, Cosimo Tristezza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferruccio Firmani hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Cesinali's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
