Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ferdinando Domenici started the match with the kick off. When Frank Battista came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Certosino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Battista couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mongardino FC's Felice Campitelli got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Aurelio Fanfarone dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anfilogino Senatore, 1-0. Mongardino FC's Anfilogino Senatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Fanfarone in the 20th minute of play. Amedeo Vittorio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anfilogino Senatore. Mongardino FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eugenio Scirea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anfilogino Senatore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Antonio De Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco De Nicola in the 28th minute of the match. Antonio De Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco De Nicola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st match minute, Mongardino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Pani to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Frank Battista collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After a rather tough play, Mongardino FC's Carmine Vitucci got a free kick in the 54th minute. Mongardino FC's Anfilogino Senatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Scirea in the 56th minute of play. Francesco De Nicola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio De Francesco having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Certosino:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mongardino FC:s goal. Fulvio Alonzi placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Mongardino FC's Francesco De Nicola in 77 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Antonio De Francesco guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 77th minute, Enrico Baldassarre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio De Francesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinando Domenici, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Ferdinando Domenici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 93 minutes, Eugenio Scirea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Certosino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Scirea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th match minute, Certosino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carter Sampo to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, Mongardino FC's Fulvio Alonzi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Certosino's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
