Marnate AFC's Fedele Alonzi got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniele Marinelli hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Fedele Alonzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ciro Treglia made a huge save. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marnate AFC's goalkeeper Ennio Finocchio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Marnate AFC got a freekick which was hit by Achille Anastasi. Amos Catena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Achille Pietrini during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Achille Pietrini hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Marnate AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Ferraro came free, but Ennio Finocchio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The referee showed Concetto Dionisi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Marnate AFC got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Dionisi. In the 73rd minute, Achille Pietrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrea Ferraro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Ennio Finocchio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Fedele Alonzi got free in front of the goal in the 85th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ciro Treglia was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Daniele Marinelli kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The Sorbolo AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sorbolo AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
