Armando Ciraci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniele Primavera having to interfere. Bianco Bearzot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermanno Demaria in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ermanno Demaria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filippona's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermanno Demaria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bianco Bearzot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristoforo Primavera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Bearzot having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Ermanno Demaria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Ciraci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 played minutes, Casal Delle Palme FC's Cosimo Cicchinelli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniele Primavera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Casal Delle Palme FC reached it. 1-0 became the score in the 40th minute when Ermanno Demaria elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermanno Demaria was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Filippona's Ermanno Demaria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bianco Bearzot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristoforo Primavera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bianco Bearzot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Primavera in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristoforo Primavera in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bianco Bearzot saved Casal Delle Palme FC from getting behind. Armando Ciraci's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Daniele Primavera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Filippo Perilli's late challenge caught a Filippona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filippo Perilli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, one of Casal Delle Palme FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Casal Delle Palme FC. In the 77th match minute, Filippona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Crosta to maneuver through the defense. Daniele Primavera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Ciraci in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Casal Delle Palme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Iezzi to maneuver through the defense. If Cristoforo Primavera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco Bearzot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristoforo Primavera went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the match, Casal Delle Palme FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristoforo Primavera came free, but Bianco Bearzot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermanno Demaria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bianco Bearzot having to make a save. 92 minutes into the game, Filippona's Cristoforo Primavera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bianco Bearzot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Filippona walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
