A collision led to Filippona getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ciccio Antico hit a great ball. Cristoforo Primavera in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bianco Finocchio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 16 minutes, Donato Ruzzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aquino FC and the Filippona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aquino FC's Donato Ruzzi got a free kick in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ermanno Demaria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filippona's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermanno Demaria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bianco Finocchio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristoforo Primavera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bianco Finocchio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermanno Demaria's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ermanno Demaria to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristoforo Primavera in the 97th minute of play forced Aquino FC's goalkeeper Bianco Finocchio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Filippona players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
