After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rivodora! Rivodora's Ferruccio Nazzaro got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rivodora's Alberto Bassi in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boara's goalie prevented a goal. 30 minutes into the game, Armando Polimeno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivodora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boara the free kick. After 30 played minutes Rivodora got a freekick which was hit by Armando Polimeno. Antonello Guidone, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Bassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alberto Bassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 minutes, Fortunato Valcareggi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivodora and the Boara players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Fortunato Valcareggi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank De Vincentis in the 64th minute of play forced Rivodora's goalkeeper Diego Petrosino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank De Vincentis struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Diego Petrosino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boara. The crowd rose to their feet as Rivodora's Ferruccio Nazzaro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Di Giulio. That made the score 1-1 after 70 minutes of play. In the 77th minute Frank De Vincentis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Petrosino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amos Di Cristofaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Petrosino having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Boara's goalkeeper Angelo Di Giulio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Nazzaro. During the 89th minute of the match Fortunato Valcareggi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fortunato Valcareggi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 89th minute, Fortunato Valcareggi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, Rivodora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Polimeno to maneuver through the defense. Boara's Antonello Guidone couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rivodora. After a rather tough play, Rivodora's Emiliano Ucci got a free kick in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
