In the 12thth minute of the game Enrico Gulli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cappuccini's Elia Gaudino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Enrico Gulli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amos Piola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Attilio Rossetti in the 18th minute of the match. The wind increased when Fulvio De Paolis made the kick off in the second half. Carter Violento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Amos Piola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carter Violento might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amos Piola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carter Violento ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio De Paolis in the 78th minute of play forced Cappuccini's goalkeeper Elia Gaudino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Attilio Rossetti got free with Amos Piola in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 minutes of play, Cappuccini's Carter Violento made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amos Piola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After having played for 95 minutes, Carter Violento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cappuccini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carter Violento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elia Gaudino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio De Paolis in the 97th minute of the match. The Cappuccini supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cappuccini would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
