After 20 minutes, Andrea Passalacqua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casinazzo AFC and the Spre FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Achille Rulli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the game, Federico Fantozzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casinazzo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spre FC the free kick. A collision led to Casinazzo AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ettore Iannone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Carlo Laurenti came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Spre FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Laurenti couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Casinazzo AFC's Florian Facchetti got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Carlo Laurenti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davide Melani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabrizio Bernardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosimo Chiappini kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Davide Melani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spre FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Melani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ettore Iannone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Casinazzo AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
