Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Borella's Damiano Santangelo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dino Del Vecchio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emiliano Sergi. Brarola's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Brarola booed when Borella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciccio Grandis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amedeo Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Cammarota having to interfere. Emiliano Sergi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Di Giacomo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ettore Cammarota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Attilio Combi in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Damiano Santangelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Attilio Combi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Attilio Combi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ettore Cammarota firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 31st minute Amedeo Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Cammarota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brarola's Emiliano Sergi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Santangelo in the 33rd minute of play. If Damiano Santangelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Borella's goalkeeper Ettore Cammarota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ettore Cammarota was a little too slow when Emiliano Picca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amedeo Negri was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Attilio Combi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Cammarota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damiano Santangelo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Emiliano Sergi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borella. After having played for 61 minutes, Amedeo Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brarola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amedeo Negri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ettore Cammarota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ettore Taraborrelli kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Brarola's goalkeeper Emiliano Sergi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuele Di Giacomo. Damiano Santangelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Emiliano Sergi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amedeo Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brarola's Attilio Combi got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Damiano Santangelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Brarola's Emiliano Picca got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Damiano Santangelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Santangelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Emiliano Sergi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attilio Combi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Borella players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Brarola from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
