Cornaredo FC's Enzo Foddis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Scalia in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cornaredo FC's zone, Alvaro Crognale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Foddis came out of the goal and Alvaro Crognale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniele La Marca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Coscarella having to interfere. The supporters of Beivars FC booed when Cornaredo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Checchia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Beivars FC. Arrigo Costantino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Enzo Foddis. 0-1. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beivars FC's goalkeeper Attilio Coscarella, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvaro Crognale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Enzo Foddis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Donato Borrelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attilio Coscarella made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrizio Cirigliano in the 40th minute. Cornaredo FC's Fabrizio Cirigliano got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornaredo FC's Enzo Foddis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvise Scalia in the 47th minute of play. Alvaro Crognale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Enzo Foddis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 75th match minute, Cornaredo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Piermattei to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Checchia's late challenge caught a Beivars FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Checchia helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cornaredo FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aurelio Checchia hit a great ball. If Alvaro Crognale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvise Scalia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrizio Moscatelli during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
