When Edoardo Verdini came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Mosórrofa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Verdini couldn't finish the play. If Dave Braccia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, one of Mosórrofa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mosórrofa FC. If Edmondo Genovese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Flavio Padula managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sturla's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Padula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eraldo Bolli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmondo Genovese stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dave Braccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Sabatino having to interfere. Edmondo Genovese in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eraldo Bolli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 62 minutes into the match, Sturla's Flavio Padula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eraldo Bolli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sturla's Flavio Padula got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, Mosórrofa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Verdini to maneuver through the defense. The Sturla players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
