In a very dangerous position, a player in Olgiate Olona AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Misano Adriatico FC. Felice Gentili stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carmine Toppi. 0-1. Ercole Farese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Landolfi in the 16th minute of play. If Damiano Di Bernardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Olgiate Olona AFC's goalkeeper Carmine Toppi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The goalkeeper, Ercole Farese, was totally fooled by Olgiate Olona AFC's Damiano Anzolin, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Carmine Toppi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damiano Di Bernardo in the 30th minute of play. Carmine Toppi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Grifoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ercole Farese made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Frezza in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Misano Adriatico FC's Alberto Reggianini got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Di Bernardo in the 42nd minute of play forced Olgiate Olona AFC's goalkeeper Carmine Toppi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Landolfi made a kick off. Angelo Landolfi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfredo Frezza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Landolfi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Farese having to interfere. When Enzo Costa fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Misano Adriatico FC's protests and gave Enzo Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Olgiate Olona AFC's Carmine Toppi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Di Bernardo in the 74th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Angelo Landolfi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmine Toppi was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Donato Grifoni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Donato Grifoni really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Armando Facchini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Farese having to interfere. If Angelo Landolfi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although Olgiate Olona AFC had been in control for most of the match, Misano Adriatico FC still came away with the win.
