Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Demetrio Pari made the kick off which started today's match. Masrola Di Sotto AFC's Fabio Miconi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Prato in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, one of Masrola Di Sotto AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Masrola Di Sotto AFC. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Monte Maggio FC. Emiliano Perilli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabio Miconi. 0-1. Masrola Di Sotto AFC's Fabio Miconi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Berti in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Demetrio Pari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donato Picozzi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eraldo Muzzatti firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Donato Picozzi put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eraldo Muzzatti. In the 25th minute Frank Berti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Miconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Masrola Di Sotto AFC's zone, Ferruccio Lorefice stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Miconi came out of the goal and Ferruccio Lorefice tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Berti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Masrola Di Sotto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Lorefice came free, but Fabio Miconi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Frank Berti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Miconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Berti struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Fabio Miconi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Maggio FC. If Ferruccio Lorefice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eraldo Muzzatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Pari in the 41st minute of play. If Frank Berti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Frank Berti made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th play minute Ferruccio Lorefice came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabio Miconi. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Masrola Di Sotto AFC's Fedele Borrelli got a free kick in the 64th minute. Fabio Miconi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Berti, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Demetrio Pari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Masrola Di Sotto AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monte Maggio FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Masrola Di Sotto AFC's Demetrio Pari got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ferruccio Lorefice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fabio Miconi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Masrola Di Sotto AFC's Fabio Miconi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Masrola Di Sotto AFC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Frank Berti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monte Maggio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Berti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Miconi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 played minutes Monte Maggio FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Prato. 91 minutes into the match, Masrola Di Sotto AFC's Donato Picozzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eraldo Muzzatti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute of the match Masrola Di Sotto AFC got a corner. Monte Maggio FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beppe Tozzi ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Damiano Pascucci managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Monte Maggio FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
