Ercole Russi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferruccio Faccio having to make a save. Ciro Sammartino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Clemente having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Noci's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ciro Sammartino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 18th match minute, Noci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Baldassarre to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Cesate FC's Cristiano Di Nardo tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Cesate FC's Fedele Benedetti in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Noci's goalie prevented a goal. Fedele Benedetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alberto Clemente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cesate FC's Fedele Benedetti got a free kick in the 27th minute. Bruno Granato kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ciro Sammartino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Alberto Clemente made a huge save. Noci's Florian Crosta got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercole Russi in the 38th minute of play forced Cesate FC's goalkeeper Ferruccio Faccio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Noci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Granato to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedele Benedetti in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Clemente saved Noci from getting behind.

The wind increased when Fedele Benedetti made the kick off in the second half. Cesate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Sammartino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedele Benedetti in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Clemente saved Noci from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Cesate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Marinetti came free, but Ferruccio Faccio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florian Crosta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferruccio Faccio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ercole Russi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferruccio Faccio was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florian Crosta got free with Ferruccio Faccio in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Noci's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Sammartino came free, but Alberto Clemente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Marinetti hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Fedele Benedetti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Clemente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. If Ciro Sammartino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferruccio Faccio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Russi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
